My remedy when life gets complicated? Bake a batch of blueberry muffins. The combination of the moist, vanilla-scented crumb and warm, jammy blueberries takes me right back to childhood.
- ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 4 ¼ cups cold filtered water
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Place all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until blueberries are completely pureed. Push through a sieve and transfer to a pitcher. Mix the lemonade with a wooden spoon and serve immediately on ice.
The lemonade can be prepared 4 hours ahead. Keep in the refrigerator and mix well before serving.
