Mid-Summer Mai Tai

This cool cocktail makes the most of fresh summer flavors and the distinctive Picaroon dark rum from Blackwater Distilling.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Picaroon dark or gold rum
  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce Curaçao
  • ¼ ounce orgeat or almond syrup
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • Fresh mint

Preparation

In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients, fill with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass with crushed ice and garnish with fresh mint.
