Carole Topalian co-founded Edible Communities in the spring of 2004 with her partner, Tracey Ryder, after two years of publishing Edible Ojai, the first-ever Edible magazine. Topalian has enjoyed a 40-year photography career, which has taken her to all corners of the globe as well as every corner of North America’s farms, ranches, rivers and oceans. Her photography has been published in all 80 Edible magazines, five cookbooks, and countless other magazines and periodicals.
