Jay Fleming

Jay Fleming has a gift for telling the stories of the Chesapeake Bay and the people who call it home. His passion for photography kicked off at thirteen when he inherited his first camera from his photographer father, and a fascination with nature from his mom. But his eye for a good story and love for the Chesapeake Bay is something all his own, and led to the 2016 publishing of Working the Water, a 280-page art-book tribute to the Chesapeake Bay. He conducts workshops, delivers talks, and showcases at galleries, while hard at work on a second book, Island Life.
