Peach Perfect

In 2009, peach pie was designated as the official State Dessert of Delaware. Introduced during colonial times, peach farming is an important part of the State’s agricultural heritage. For much of the nineteenth century, Delaware was the country's leading producer of peaches, shipping 6 million baskets to market in 1875. Today, Delmarva peaches are a seasonal treat to be savored! Fresh picked, sliced on everything (like the pavolva on our cover!) or in one of these recipes for a new take on traditional peach pie.
