Rise-Up Latte Ice Cream

A creamy, fun treat inspired by Chef Gretchen Hanson's visit to Nice Farms Creamery

Ingredients

SERVINGS: Makes about 3 cups
  • 1 cup Nice Farms full fat milk
  • 1½ cups Nice Farms heavy cream
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • ½ cup organic sugar
  • ¼ cup dried milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 shots (2 ounces) espresso
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Heat milk, cream and split vanilla bean over low heat. Let simmer and whisk in sugar. Remove from heat and let cool, whisking in egg yolks, dried milk, vanilla extract and espresso. Remove vanilla bean. Put in chilled bowl of ice cream container and follow manufacturer’s instructions.
