- 4 cups (1 quart) ice
- 2 avocados, pitted and peeled
- ½ cup silver tequila
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup Grand Marnier
- ¼ cup simple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Coarse salt, for rimming the glasses
- Lime wedges, for garnish
Preparation
In a high-powered blender, combine the ice, avocados, tequila, lime juice, Grand Marnier, simple syrup, and salt. Blend until mixed. Taste and, if desired, add a little more tequila or simple syrup—whatever you need. Place the coarse salt on a plate. Rim the glasses with lime wedges and dip the rims in the coarse salt. Spoon the frozen margarita into the glasses and serve with lime wedges.
